Alliance for the Healthiest Nation

The Alliance for the Healthiest Nation involves local, state and national groups who are working together to build an integrated health system where everyone can achieve optimal health. The Commission provides an excellent website to learn more about the many factors that influence and drive our health.

The Trust for America’s Health (TFAH) is an organization dedicated to saving lives by protecting the health of all communities. Through its focus on prevention, protection and communities, TFAH is working with various groups to make disease prevention a top national priority. TFAH’s website provides a great resource for those interested in taking action and becoming advocates for healthier communities all across America. 

U.S. Preventive Services Task Force

The U.S Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) is an independent panel of experts in primary care and prevention that reviews effectiveness and develops recommendations for clinical preventive services. The USPSTF is a terrific website to learn more about ongoing research in the area of prevention.

WHO Commission on Social Determinants of Health

The Commission on Social Determinants of Health (CSDH) supports countries and global health partners in addressing the social factors that influence health inequities.
